Key types we work with

We cover a wide range of key types — from old Soviet-era keys to the latest high-security systems:

Cylinder keys (Europrofile / Scandinavian)

The most common key type in Latvia — recognisable by their oval or round tip. In most cases a copy is ready in 10–15 minutes. We work with Keso, DOM, EVVA, FAB, Winkhaus and other popular brands. Copies from €5.

Mortice keys (internal doors, older systems)

Widely used in Soviet-era and pre-war buildings — recognisable by a large "bit" or semi-circular shape. Often no longer mass-produced, but our specialists cut them from the original or from the lock's internal structure. Copies from €8.

Safe keys

Safe key cutting is precise work — even a tiny deviation makes the key useless. We cut from the original, and in some cases from the key code or safe card. Price from €15, confirmed individually.

Chip and magnetic keys

Modern systems with an integrated chip or magnetic element (e.g. Abloy Protec, Mul-T-Lock MT5+, EVVA MCS). Copying these requires specialist equipment and often manufacturer certification. Let us know your key system and we'll advise on the options.

Key cutting without the original

Lost the original or snapped it? In many cases we can cut a key without it — using the lock's key code or the key's serial number. This requires proof of ownership and a little more time (usually 30–60 min), but it saves you the cost and inconvenience of replacing the entire lock.

Key cutting by code (from the lock itself)

If the lock has been removed or its internal structure is accessible, the specialist can "read" the required key profile and cut a new key from scratch. This technique is especially useful in older buildings with obsolete locks where no replacement key can be found anywhere.

Spare keys — an investment that pays off

One of the most common reasons people call a locksmith is precisely because they've lost or left behind their keys. Having a spare cut in advance is the cheapest and simplest solution — it costs a fraction of an emergency call-out in the middle of the night.
